While the company information is great, I always read multiple customer reviews if I&#039;m unsure about an online purchase. Reviews are often the deciding factor for me. I generally trust customer reviews on a company site, unless the review content seems overly positive to the point of fake. “Top Reviewer badges” on Amazon often have the opposite of the intended effect on me. I feel like they owe something to Amazon so they are biased. When I feel that way I go to a third party site.

Last night I was scouring the internet for reviews of an obscure board game that I wanted to buy my husband for Valentine&#039;s Day. I could not find one customer review - even after checking multiple &quot;board game review&quot; websites. In the end, I couldn&#039;t justify purchasing a $35 board game (plus shipping) without knowing if anyone else in the world thought it was fun.</description>
